The Wedding Pictures

These were not taken by the hired photographer, but wanted to get them up for everyone to see.

It rained all morning, but the sun came out for the ceremony. It was a beautiful day.

The Wedding was in the garden at "Tina's Country House" (23 Mile & North Ave). The top picture was at "George George Park" in Clinton Township (Moravian & Cass Ave). The kids all piled into limos after the ceremony and went to the park for pictures. When they returned we got parent/family photos in the garden.

The Calm before the Storm

Well, only 3 days until the wedding. I'd love to say it's going smoothly, but there are a few kinks. Not for me mind you, but for my son and his future bride.

The wedding is supposed to be outdoors and a major cold front come through this past weekend and it's chilly!! AND forcast says it may rain on Friday. Wish me luck to get through this without a headache.



Trying to keep my mind off the wedding, I've done some cards for myself (not for the store). What do you think of this one? I combined two ideas I'd seen and I think it turned out alright? I just love these 3d outline stickers. Wish more than one came in a package though.

Invitations

Here they are: The second half of the wedding invite fits inside the first half and the loop hangs out the notch... etc. The shower invitation was simple, but coordinates with the wedding invites.

Love is in the Air!!

The invitations are done... I have my dress, shoes, purse and accessories. Only 4 weeks to go til the wedding. Can't wait til it's over. :O)

Here is one of my newest stamps that represents "love". These swans are easy to do. Stamped in slate gray then color is added with pencils and mineral spirits. Cuttlebugged background is textile pattern. Fiskars border at top, accented with liquid pearls.

Out of the Loop

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. My son moved his wedding up a year and it's now in 6 weeks. We found out early last week... so I've been making invitations. I will post it here when I get it scanned.

Pure Elegance

I've been busy playing with stickers. It's amazing to me all the new designs that have come out that allow you to just stick and color. These are from three different companies. I can't get all the designs I love from just one company..... so I order from them all!! I have another company on order right now, just waiting on their arrival. It's so much fun designing with them as backgrounds and now... full cards... whew.
